Mr. and Mrs. William Groth

William and Leslie Groth will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on May 2, 2012.

The Groths were married on May 2, 1987, in Maryland Community Church at Terre Haute.

Mrs. Groth, the former Leslie Lyon, is employed by First Financial Bank. “Bill” is employed by Hapco Crankshafts.

The couple have two daughters, Jennifer and Heather Groth.



Engagements

Ervin-Samuels

Tiffany Jo Ervin and Brandon Thomas Samuels of Terre Haute will be united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, in the White Chapel on the campus of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Betty and Robert Ervin of Terre Haute and a 2004 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School. She attended Ivy Tech Community College, owns a photography business, and is employed by West Central Indiana Economic Development District in Terre Haute.

Samuels is the son of Deborah and Timothy Samuels of Terre Haute and a 2004 graduate of Terre Haute South. He is a 2012 graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and a minor in art history, owns a freelance design business, and is production manager of the Indiana Statesman, ISU’s campus newspaper.



Ditteon-Deike

Dr. and Mrs. Richard P. Ditteon announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Eileen Ditteon, to Brennon Christian Deike on June 9, 2012.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, a 2008 graduate of Indiana University and a 2011 graduate of Western Governors University with a doctorate in physical therapy. She is a physical therapist at Terre Haute Physical Therapy.

Deike is the son of Robert Deike of Ada, Minn., and Marshella Goben of LeRoy, Ill. He is a 2003 graduate of LeRoy High School, a 2007 graduate of Augustana College, and a 2011 graduate of WGU with a doctorate in physical therapy. He is a physical therapist at IU Methodist Hospital.



Roberts-Gibbs

Sarah Roberts of Universal and Chris Gibbs of Danville, Ind., will be united in marriage on July 14, 2012, in Greencastle.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Charlotte and John Roberts of Universal and a 2007 graduate of Ball State University in Muncie. She is employed by the Hux Cancer Center.

Gibbs is the son of Sheri Sutherland and Michael Gibbs of Danville and a 2011 graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He is employed by Tech Ni Fab Products.



Gregory-Hughes

Karen Gregory and Christopher Hughes, both of Terre Haute, plan a May 2012 wedding.

The couple will united in marriage during a private ceremony in Faithful Hearts Chapel.



Weddings

Edwards-Downing

Jessica Maureen Edwards and Joseph Leonard Downing II of Terre Haute were united in marriage at 2:15 p.m. Dec. 18, 2011, in Cross Lane Church at Terre Haute

Brett Wilson officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Erika and John Edwards of Terre Haute. She is a graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor of science degree in speech pathology.

The bridegroom is the son of Lorra Campbell and Joseph Downing of Terre Haute. He is a graduate of ISU with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Rachael Edwards, Brittanie Cherepkai and Kelsey Harper were honor attendants.

Justin Duke, Eric Smith and Andrew Bledsoe were the bridegroom’s attendants.

Linlie Riche and Alivia Downing were flower girls and Ayden Stark was ring bearer.

A reception followed in Terre Haute Moose Lodge 1009.
