Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bovenschen
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bovenschen of Farmersburg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 6 p.m. Feb. 19, 2011, at Sullivan City Park shelter.
Friends and relatives are invited.
It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome.
The Bovenschens were married Feb. 25, 1961, in Indian Prairie Baptist Church at Carlisle.
Mrs. Bovenschen is the former Norma Wolfe.
The couple have four children, Brenda Jackson, Debra Vaughn, and Bradley and Kenneth Bovenschen. They also have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cleon Edwards
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cleon Edwards observed their 50th wedding anniversary with family on Dec. 21, 2010.
A celebration for other family and friends is planned at a later date.
The couple were married Dec. 21, 1960, in Terre Haute.
Mrs. Edwards, the former Dorothy Ladd, is retired from General Housewares Corp.
Edwards is retired from the United States Federal Penitentiary.
The couple have five children, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. James Creasey
Mr. and Mrs. James “Jim” Creasey of Clinton, Ill., will observe their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 18, 2011.
An open house is scheduled 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 19, 2011, in the Revere Room of Warner Library.

The couple were married Feb. 18, 1951, in the First Congregational Church at Terre Haute.
Mrs. Creasey, the former Virginia Sims, is retired from Bloomington School District 87.
Creasey is retired from GE in Bloomington.
The couple have seven children, Jim Creasey and wife Renee of Grand Junction, Colo., Janet DiVerde and husband Chuck of Wapella, Ill., Jayne Usher and husband Marshall of Clinton, Ill., Judy Allen of Wapella, Jennifer Stephen and husband Darrell of Frankfort, Ill., Jay Creasey and wife Kim of Joliet, Ill., and Jon Creasey of Normal, Ill. They also have 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
