Mr. and Mrs. Tim Tanner

Mr. and Mrs. Tim Tanner of Terre Haute will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011, in the Sandcut firehouse.

Friends and relatives are invited.

Mrs. Tanner, the former Kathy Anderson, is employed by Brenner McDonagh & Tortolani.

Tanner is employed by the Indiana Air National Guard.

The couple have two children, Siera and Ethan Tanner.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas ‘Jock’ Rayce

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas “Jock” Rayce of Clinton will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary during an open house from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011, in the home of their son, Jerry Rayce and wife Betty of Clinton.

Friends and relatives are invited. Cards are welcome and may be sent to 522 S. Fifth St., Clinton, IN 47842.

The couple were married June 14, 1941. Mrs. Rayce, the former Alberta Sills, is retired from Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton.

Rayce retired as owner/operator of Rayce’s Superette Grocerie Store in Clinton.

They also have another son, Jack Rayce and wife Fran of Michigan, and four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Fields

Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Fields of Terre Haute will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011, in the American Legion Post at Riley.

Friends and relatives are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome and may be sent to 5575 Lama St., Terre Haute, IN 47802.

The couple were married June 27, 1946. Mrs. Fields, the former Frances Curtis, is retired from Columbia Records. Fields is retired from Anaconda Aluminum and works for the Vigo County School Corp. at Riley Elementary.

Hosts will be the couple’s two daughters, Debbie Van Horn and husband Don, and Jami Hensel and husband Chris. They also have one granddaughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cook

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cook of Terre Haute celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 16, 2011.

The Cooks were married June 16, 1961, in Centenary Methodist Church at Terre Haute.

Mrs. Cook, the former Joyce Hopewell, has been a realtor for 30 years, and is currently with Coldwell Banker Troy Helman Realtors.

Cook is retired from the Vigo County School Corp. where he served the last 19 years as athletic director at Terre Haute North Vigo High School.

The couple have two children, Leslie Cook of Richmond, Texas, and Warren Cook and wife Teresa of New Castle. They also have two grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen R. McFarland

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen R. McFarland of Terre Haute observed their 40th wedding anniversary on June 12, 2011. They plan to take a trip west later in the summer to celebrate with friends and family.

The McFarlands were married June 12, 1971, in Indianapolis, by the bride’s father, the Rev. Elwood J. Dodge.

Mrs. McFarland, the former Neva Dodge, is a patient representative coordinator/chaplain at Union Hospital. McFarland is retired from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The couple have two children, Anne Francis of Manchester, N.H., and Scot McFarland of Clayton. They also have four grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. John Garner Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. John Garner Jr. will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with family and friends during dinner in Ryan’s Family Steak House.

Cards are welcome and may be sent to 2111 Leeland Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47802.

The Garners were married June 17, 1971, in the Christian Reform Church at Terre Haute.

Mrs. Garner, the former Rose Gabbard, is a homemaker. Garner is a staff technologist in radiology at Union Hospital and is completing his Ph.D. at Indiana State University.

The couple have four children, Jean Case and husband Bryan, Renee Garner, Christopher Garner, and Heather D’Auria and husband Michael, all of Terre Haute. They also have eight grandchildren.
