Mr. and Mrs. Max Gaines
Mr. and Mrs. Max Gaines of Hutsonville, Ill., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010.
The couple were married Sept. 25, 1960, in the Church of Christ at Vincennes, Ind.
Mrs. Gaines is the former Paula Gambill.
The couple have two children, Janet Gaines, and Julie McIntyre and husband Kevin. They also have two grandsons.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin E. Jewell of Sullivan will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010.
A trip to Nashville, Ind., with friends is planned.
The Jewells were married Sept. 24, 1950, in Dean Avenue Christian Church by the Rev. Adams.
Mrs. Jewell, the former Leah Joyce Deer, retired as an expeditor for Macy’s in New Jersey.
Jewell worked at Pfizer Inc. for 15 years and retired as a biologist for Merck.
The couple have two children, Sandra Frazier of Sullivan and Randall Jewell of Kendall Park, N.J. They also have two grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wood of Hume, Ill., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family on Sept. 18, 2010.

The Woods were married Sept. 18, 1960, in the Hume Christian Church.
Mrs. Wood, the former Gladys Deckard, is a homemaker.
Wood, formerly of Terre Haute, is retired from Illinois Cereal Mills in Paris, Ill., after 34 years.
The couple have four sons, Richard Wood Jr., Randy and Rodney Wood, all of Hume; and Robert Wood of Ayden, N.C. They also have one grandson.
