Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Wilkins


Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Wilkins of Terre Haute will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, with an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. in Southside Church of Christ at 4117 S. Seventh St. in Terre Haute.

Friends and relatives are invited and cards are welcome.

The couple were married Feb. 27, 1960, in the bride’s parents’ home by the Rev. Robert Woehler.

Mrs. Wilkins, the former Carolyn Jean Hollingsworth, is self-employed.

Wilkins retired from Ivy Hill Packaging Co. in April 2005.

Hosts include the couple’s four children, Gary (and Sandy) Wilkins of Louisville, Ky., Kathy (and Paul) Stone, Pam Wilkins, and Matt (and Mandy) Wilkins, all of Terre Haute.

They also have seven grandchildren, Heather Fagg, Jordan Stone, Stephanie and Tyler Weishaupt, Jason Wilkins, and Savannah and Eli Wilkins.



Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lloyd Robinson


Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lloyd Robinson of Rockville will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 26, 2010.

Their family will host an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, in the Rockville Masonic Lodge.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The Robinsons were married Feb. 26, 1960, in Dana by the Rev. Lewis Drengacs.

Mrs. Robinson is the former Frances May Kent.

The couple have three children, Stacey Robinson and wife Bethany of St. Louis, Paula Price and husband Jeremy of Rockville, and Ellen Goff and husband David of Rockville.

They also have six grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. Vern W. Fellows


Mr. and Mrs. Vern W. Fellows of Terre Haute will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, in United Methodist Temple.

Friends and relatives are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome.

The couple were married Feb. 19, 1960, in the Methodist Temple by the Rev. Ralph Moore Jones. Mrs. Fellows, the former Janice Sawyers, is a retired teacher from the Vigo County School Corp. Fellows is retired owner and president of B&A; Electric/Electronic.

Hosts will be the couple’s two daughters, Karen Henderson and husband John of Terre Haute, and Elizabeth Lauri of Fishers. They also have three grandchildren.
