Mr. and Mrs. Jack Del Mastro

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Del Mastro of West Terre Haute celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, May 16, 2009, in Yates Station at Shepardsville.

The Del Mastros were married May 16, 1959, in Clinton.

Mrs. Del Mastro, the former Susan Fisher, retired from the real estate business in 1997.

Del Mastro is retired from Bricklayers Union, Local 5 and Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, Local 157.

The couple have two children, Scot Del Mastro and wife Cindy, and Chris Maher and husband Gary.

They also have two grandsons.



Mr. and Mrs. Fred T. Stevenson Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred T. Stevenson Sr. of Rosedale observed their 50th wedding anniversary on June 20, 2009. They also celebrated with a trip to Niagara Falls, Canada.

A celebration with family and friends is scheduled 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, June 28, in the Rosedale Civic Center. Cards are welcome.

The Stevensons were married June 20, 1959, in the Christian Fellowship Church by the Rev. Bill Stone. Mrs. Stevenson is the former Marjorie Davis of Lyford.

The couple have three children, Ramona Herb, Rebecca Mace and Fred T. Stevenson Jr. They also have eight grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. Joe Koch

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Koch of Brazil celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family on Friday, June 19, 2009.

Cards are welcome and may be sent to 33 E. Church St., Brazil, IN 47834.

The Kochs were married in a lawn ceremony on June 19, 1949, at the home of John and Anna Handlin, the bride’s parents.

The couple have four children, Mary Ann Isaacs and husband J.R., Becky Adams and husband Ben, John Koch and wife Gloria, and Sally Elder.

They also have 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. John Wiltermood

Mr. and Mrs. John Wiltermood will observe their 45th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 27, 2009.

The Wiltermoods were married on June 27, 1964, in Sacred Heart Church at Clinton by the Rev. Jerome Bennett.

Mrs. Wiltermood, the former Louise Chiado, is employed by First Financial Bank.

Wiltermood is retired from Vincennes University.

The couple have one son, Aaron Wiltermood and wife Brooke of Shelburn. They also have twin grandsons and two granddaughters.



Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wilson

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wilson celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, June 16, 2009.

The Wilsons were married on June 16, 1984, in the Sycamore Park Methodist Church by the Rev. Minnie Gowan.

Mrs. Wilson, the former Julie Pemberton, is a homemaker.

Wilson is employed by the Vigo County Park Department.

The couple have one daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Mark Hauser. They also have one granddaughter.



Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Sipes

Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Sipes of Terre Haute will observe their 50th wedding anniversary today, June 21, 2009. Their children are planning a celebration trip to Hawaii next year.

The couple were married June 21, 1959, in Hindostan Methodist Church at Shoals.

Mrs. Sipes, the former Roberta A. Gibson, has been employed by JC Penney Co. for 32 years. Sipes is retired from the U.S. Air Force after 37 years.

The couple have five children, Myrna Lynch and husband Jim of Ashburn, Va., Lisa Holt and husband Ronald of Terre Haute, Rick Sipes of Panama City, Fla., Debbie Fears and husband Scott of Plainfield, and Brian Sipes and wife Robin of Terre Haute.

They also have 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. William J. Fields

Mr. and Mrs. William J. Fields will observe their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 25, 2009. They celebrated with family on June 20 in their home at West Terre Haute.

The Fields were married on June 25, 1949, in St. Stephens Episcopal Church at Terre Haute.

Mrs. Fields, the former Marjorie Lee Mays, is a nurse. She worked for Dr. J.L. Stoelting for 30 years and is retired from Meadows Home Health Care.

Fields is retired from the Vigo County School Corp., where he taught science at the secondary level.

The couple have one daughter, Jolee Garis and husband Mike of Zionsville. They also have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Feckete

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Feckete of Brazil and formerly of New York will observe their 40th wedding anniversary today, June 21, 2009.

The couple celebrated with a two-week trip to the Rocky Mountains.

Mrs. Feckete retired as a teacher’s assistant at Deming Elementary School in Terre Haute.

Feckete is retired after 25 tears as a New York City Fire Department lieutenant.

The couple have three children, Stephen Feckete and his wife Julie and Kenneth Feckete and wife Sara of Indianapolis, and Laurie Setleff and husband Jason of Terre Haute.

They also have four grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. Archie Brown

Mr. and Mrs. Archie Brown celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 7, 2009.

The Browns were married June 7, 1942, in the First Assembly of God Church at West Terre Haute by his father, the Rev. Archie Brown.

Mrs. Brown is the former Lou Long. Brown is a retired watchmaker from Brown’s Swiss Watch Shoppe and retired chaplain from Royal Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.

The couple have two children, Jim Brown and Betty Rhyan. They also have seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Brown

Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Brown recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner in the Beef House. They plan a trip in August to Edisto Beach, S.C., and Savannah, Ga.

The Browns were married June 7, 1969, in the Judson Baptist Church at Judson by the Rev. Lester Niles.

Mrs. Brown, the former Linda Bemis, is retired from Rockville Elementary School.

Brown has been employed by R.R. Donnelley and Sons in Crawfordsville for more than 40 years.

The couple have two sons, Rob Brown and Andrew Brown and wife Melanie, all of Crawfordsville.
