TERRE HAUTE — Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lunsford

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lunsford will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, June 9, 2009.

The Lunsfords were married on June 9, 1979, at the Christian Church in Clinton by the Rev. Pat Overton.

Mrs. Lunsford, the former Joanie Dickey, is an elementary school librarian in the Southwest Parke School Corporation.

Lunsford is an English and history teacher at Riverton Parke Jr.-Sr. High School and a writer.

The couple have two children, Ellen and Evan Lunsford.

The couple are planning an anniversary trip for later this summer.

Albert Burns

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Burns celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 6, 2009.

The couple were married on June 6, 1959, in the United Methodist Church at Lebanon, Ill.

Mrs. Burns, the former, Diane Baum, is retired from the Clay Community School Corporation.

Burns is retired from Alcan.

The couple have four children, Steven Burns and wife Lori, Rebecca Yowell and husband Bradley, Scott Burns and wife Marian and the late Sergeant David Burns.

They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Loren Butts

Mr. and Mrs. Loren Butts of Terre Haute will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 11, 2009.

Cards are welcome and may be sent to 3121 N. 11th St. Terre Haute, IN. 47804.

The couple were married June 11, 1949, in the sister of the bride’s home by the Rev. A.L. Althaus.

Mrs. Butts, the former Luella Cribelar, is retired from Hillman’s.

Butts is retired from the United States Postal Service.

The couple have one son, Mark Butts and wife Shelley. They also have two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Rondell Napier

Mr. and Mrs. Rondell Napier of Hutsonville, Ill. will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. CDT Sunday, June 14, 2009, at the Hutsonville Community Center, South Main St. at Hutsonville, Ill.

It is requested that gifts be omitted, but cards are welcome and may be sent to P.O. Box 92, Hutsonville, IL 62433.

The Napiers were married June 11, 1949.

Mrs. Napier, the former Elaine Lingafelter, is a homemaker.

Napier recently retired his business Napier’s Trucking after 50 years.

The couple have two children, Sheri Higginbotham of Marshall, Ill. and Myron Napier, and wife Trish, of Palestine, Ill.

They also have four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Glen W. Robinson

Mr. and Mrs. Glen W. Robinson of West Terre Haute will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2009, at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 6076 U.S. Highway 150 at West Terre Haute.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The Robinsons were married June 14, 1959, at First United Methodist Church in West Terre Haute by the late Rev. Samuel Boyll.

Mrs. Robinson is the former, Carol Ann Forster.

The couple have three children, Deana (Terry) Lewis of Mahomet, Ill., Dennis (Jennifer) Robinson of Seelyville and Debra Dawn of West Terre Haute.

They also have eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.



Mr. and Mrs. Robert “Bob” Auterson

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Auterson celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, May 19th, 2009.

The Autersons were married May 19, 1984, in Farmers Chapel at Terre Haute, by the Rev. Sam Boyll.

Tammy, the former Tammy Jo Trimble, and Robert, known to most as Bob, met in 1980 while working at Sears Roebuck. They were married nearly four years later at Farmers Chapel in southern Terre Haute. Since that time, God has had his hand upon this couple, and blessed them in many ways.

Tammy, currently works at Meadows Elementary School as a ESL assistant. She has worked there for seven years and really enjoys working with the children. Her second job, taking care of the house and Bob! Tammy is an extremely devoted wife and mother. A great example to follow.

Bob works for Ryder Logistics driving a semi delivering hardware to Do It Best stores in Indiana. Both he and Tammy are real estate investors and devote a lot of time to that area of business. Bob is an excellent husband and father, and always has encouragement when you need it.

Bob and Tammy attend Cross Tabernacle, where they worship the Lord each Sunday. Both believe God has done so much in their lives, and they attribute all they are and all they have to Him.

The couple have two daughters and one son-in-law, Crystal and Mike Hunter, and Megan Auterson. Both Crystal and Megan are pregnant and expecting baby girls later this year.



Mr. and Mrs. John Ernest Vanatti

Mr. and Mrs. John Ernest Vanatti will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 14, 2009.

An open house will be hosted by their children and grandchildren at their home from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2009.

It is requested that gifts be omitted, but cards are welcome.

Friends and family are invited.

The couple were married on June 14, 1959, in Terre Haute by the Rev. Harley G. Jones.

Mrs. Vanatti, the former Linda Sumner, is employed by Allied-Bartlow.

Vanatti retired from Alcan Aluminum in 2001 after 371/2 years.

The couple have three children, Rita Southern and husband, Dana of Romney, Ind., John S. Vanatti of Terre Haute and the late Bruce Vanatti and wife Darla of Clinton. They also have seven grandchildren.
