Mr. and Mrs. Clayton “Wade” Stewart observed their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008.

The Stewarts were married Aug. 14, 1948.
Mrs. Stewart is the former Loree Streeter.
The couple have three children, Lisa J. Bernard of Orlando, Fla., and the late Reta Darlene Stewart and Gary Alan Stewart. They also have one granddaughter.
A trip is planned at a later date.

The children of Darrell Butt and Rebecca Stoelting Butt announce their parents’ 40th wedding anniversary.
The couple will celebrate during an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, in the Cory firehouse in Cory.

The Butts were married Aug. 18, 1968, in Mount Calvary United Methodist Church by the Rev. Al Emmert, the bride’s uncle.
Mr. and Mrs. Estel Shidler
Mr. and Mrs. Estel Shidler of Hymera will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary during a lunch at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, in the home of her parents, Richard and Deanna Riggs, 405 N. East St. in Hymera.
Friends and relatives are invited.
The Shidlers were married Aug. 27, 1983, in Shiloh Assembly of God Church.
Mrs. Shidler is the former Cindy Riggs.
The couple have two children, Matthew Shidler and Jonie Shidler.
