Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bonar

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bonar of Terre Haute celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary during a Caribbean cruise in March with their son, Aaron Bonar.

The Bonars were married May 31, 1986, in United Methodist Temple at Terre Haute by the Rev. Cheeseman.

Mrs. Bonar, the former Joyce Kuckewich, is a teacher with Southwest School Corp. with plans to retire after 40 years at the end of the school year.

Bonar, a retired Vigo County School Corp. principal, now works for First Financial Bank.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Gambill

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Gambill of Terre Haute will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with family today, May 29, 2011.

The Gambills were married May 31, 1951. Mrs. Gambill is the former Mary Alice Hayhurst. Gambill retired in 1983 from Pfizer Inc. after 35 years.

They have four children, Angela Neese and husband Robert, Michael Gambill and wife Janee, Chris Gambill and wife Bionca, and Jeff Gambill and wife Stephannie.

They also have 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel V. Miller

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel V. Miller of East Glenn will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at their home.

Friends, relatives and former classmates are invited. Cards are welcome and may be mailed to 1733 Moore St., Terre Haute, IN 47803.

The Millers were married June 4, 1961, in the old Maryland Church on South Seventh Street.

Mrs. Miller, the former Mary Haugh, owned Mary Miller’s Beauty Shop in the early 1970s and operated a daycare center in her home for many years.

Miller owned Ernie’s Electric Co. for 41 years.

The couple have three children, Angela Searcy, Samuel A. Miller and Jesse Miller. They also have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
