ANNIVERSARIES: Sept. 4, 2011

Mr. and Mrs. Pat Inman

Mr. and Mrs. Pat Inman of Clinton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011.

The Inmans were married Sept. 10, 1961, in the First United Methodist Church at Clinton by the Rev. Don Duggleby.

Mrs. Inman, the former Emily Syme, is employed by Beardsley Law Firm.

Inman was a maintenance supervisor at CBS for 25 years and is now a custodian at Central Elementary School.

The couple have one daughter, Lisa Fullenkamp of Battle Creek, Mich., and two grandsons.

Mr. and Mrs. Gail Smith

Mr. and Mrs. Gail Smith of Blackhawk will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, in the Blackhawk Community Church.

The Smiths were married Aug. 18, 1961, in the home of Pastor Jerrell Scott in Farmersburg, Ind.

Mrs. Smith is the former Carol Bedwell.

Hosts will be the couple’s two children, Rob (and Mary Ann) Smith of St. Paul, Ind. and Tracie Land of Terre Haute. They have five grandchildren, Kelcie, Ericka and Claire Smith, and Ben and Derick Land; and one great-granddaughter, Kylie Land.

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Parr

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Parr of Terre Haute will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011. They will celebrate at a later date with a trip to French Lick Resort.

The Parrs were married Sept. 9, 1961, in Trinity Methodist Church at Terre Haute by the Rev. James Vanpelt.

Mrs. Parr, the former Linda Graham, was manager of Nutrition System and worked at Ivy Tech Community College. She now works with her husband who owns and operates Historic Motor Cars Auto Upholstery in Terre Haute.
