Mr. and Mrs. James F. Snow

Mr. and Mrs. James F. Snow will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at 2240 Frisco Ave. in Terre Haute.

Friends and relatives are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome.

The Snows were married Dec. 2, 1961, in Terre Haute. Both are retired from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

The couple have three daughters, Gertrude Dugger of Avon, Melissa Durham of North Carolina, and Renee Zigler of Terre Haute.

They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walker

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walker celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary Nov. 26th. They were married by the Rev. Keener in the parsonage of Four Square Church Nov. 26, 1952.

They have owned and operated Dairy Queens in Terre Haute for 57 years.

Frank is still very active in the operations of both stores.

They have a daughter, Brett Krieble of Zionsville, who teaches at University High School in Carmel; and a grandson, Nick Krieble who graduated from Vanderbilt University and now works in Atlanta. They also have three granddaughters, Jordan Krieble, a junior at Butler University, Haley Krieble, a senior at University High School, and Gabrielle Krieble, a sophomore at University High School.

Mrs. Walker is the former Virginia Clark of Midland, Ind.
