Casey, Ill. — The Clark & Cumberland County Ag Expo is scheduled 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 7 in Richards Farm Restaurant in Casey, Ill.
Area agribusinesses will have displays set up to enable the participants to gather information to prepare for the 2007 planting season.
A noon meal will be served. Extension educators will discuss the topic of planting refuge acres.
Chuck Hartke, Illinois director of agriculture, will be on hand to speak about the future of renewable fuels in Illinois and about what is going on with the Department of Ag. After the noon meal, a marketing panel will be directed by Dave Dickey, WILL director of agricultural programming.
Cost for the expo and lunch is $5.
